Therapeutic massage and bodywork in Boston's Copley Square. John offers both Deep Tissue & General Relaxation treatments utilizing various speeds, rhythms, and pressures to treat pain, muscle tension, and injury while reducing stress. Body awareness and self-care are also emphasized to achieve maximum health benefits. Each Muscular Therapy session is tailored to meet your needs and individual treatment goals.
The studio itself is tailored to give each client an enjoyable, comfortable, and relaxing experience. Devoid of all large spa pretension, the clean, bright space and John's easygoing demeanor create a relaxing environment for the client to relax and enjoy their massage. Flannel sheets and a large, pillowy face cradle make for a great degree of comfort on the table. And, John will play a variety of great music during your massage.

Lauren's Nails consistently gets annual awards for their nail service. Not a great atmostphere, Lauren's doesn't pay attention to the walls or atmosphere-- they are more concerned with transforming your nails into a beautiful masterpiece. They are fast, and consistent. Like most Newbury Nail places, $35 for a pedicure and manicure.

European beauty mavens have been raving about this upscale “soapermarket” for years, and it's about time we trend-starved Bostonians got a piece of the action. Lush looks almost like a fruit stand, with scrubs, bubbles, bath bombs, and chunks of handmade soap artfully heaped against chalkboard signs. The soaps, subtly blended with essences of fruits, spices, vegetables, and minerals, are sold by the pound ($27+/lb). Travelers swear by Lush's shampoo bars ($8-9), which come in handy tins and fit in your pocket—perfect for those who just can't leave home without a pocket full of shampoo.
